App / modules does not install

I tried lot of time to install a module or apps via the administration, but after looking on my ftp, I have nothing.

Could you tell me what's happen ?

Hello Joe,

I think your hoster does not allow that in native. You must change the right of all directories. In this case, I think it's not recommended to do that. and it's better for you to make an manual install.

It's easy, just download the zip, unzip the files and push inside your shop

Is it important to copy the json inside Work/Cache/Github ?

Yes it's better to do that. The json give some information when you search a module and if there is an update, you will know.

Also it's impossible to compare your module with the new module. There is a new at this moment about the antispam. Inside the update admin, you can easily compare the new version with the last and make an upgrade.
